SS has always been funded through payrolls taxes, the problem is politicians steal from it and not held accountable. Politicians hand out extra SS to some people whom do not deserve it, therefore closing loopholes, is required. It has nothing to do with people are living longer or that it is under funded.

Thanks Mate, the sad truth is that no one has a clue, we all react to what happens as it happens and try to analyse it but can’t predict an iota of what is going to unfold in the markets… content creators are like amplifiers, when times are good they affirm it and try to tell you why it’s good and that it’s looking bullish but then all of a sudden the market turns bearish and everyone affirms it again and try to analyse why… it’s so sad that many are so powerless and it's not about guessing the market's next move; it's about playing it smart and steady during trading...managed to grow a nest egg of around 2.3Bitcoin to a decent 19Bitcoin in the space of a few months... I'm especially grateful to Linda Wilburn, whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape.

I foresee a recession lasting 2-3 years, and if inflation continues to surge, the Federal Reserve will likely raise interest rates soon. Inflation is causing various issues worldwide, such as food shortages, scarcities of diesel and heating fuel, and significant spikes in housing prices, leading to a potential financial market crash. This global downturn could have long-lasting repercussions. Given the current inflation rate of approximately 9%, my main worry is how to optimize my savings and retirement fund, which has remained stagnant at around $300,000, yielding almost no gains for quite some time.

Delivery hasn't been short Jack. It's been straight up nonexistent. Your guest paints the picture of an optimistic future but even he admits that a new cohort of buyers that can truly move the needle are nowhere to be found. If people can't use crypto (including bitcoin) in their everyday lives en masse then this industry is destined to die a very slow death. Real, tangible understandable value needs to be provided to end users. Meaningless platitudes, endless promises and overly complex defi schemes will not usher in another bull market a la 2020-2021

1:25:15 China has less than $1 trillion of US debt on its balance sheet. Japan has about $1 trillion. The total US debt held by foreign entities is about $8 trillion. No foreign countries are holding $10's of trillions of US debt. And why shouldn't russia's assets/reserves be used to pay for the defense of the country it unjustifiably attacked? Why should iran's assets be unfrozen to be used to attack Israel, the US and its allies? Otherwise a good conversation,.. Especially on the crack spreads being the driver of refinery profits. A little surprised VLO wasn't mentioned. You can just check the historical crack spread chart and and get what a good estimate of what VLO's profits will be before earnings release. What's not so easy to predict is what the market's reaction will be vs expectations, forward guidance,.. etc A lot easier than bitcoin whose price is just based on the greater fool. It's not a store of value. It's not backed by anything. It pays no dividends or interest. It's electrons. It's far too volatile to be a medium of exchange. And why it hasn't and will never become a reserve currency.

Back in 2022 when btc was at its cycle low, people where saying btc is done for it's going below $15k US it's going to zero. Well it's down 10% from mid March ath 2024 and now everyone is shitting themselves. That doesn't make any logical sense especially for crypto.Its just a shake out phase, chill people go zoom out at old charts. We are at around 1.4 trillion market cap and only growing, just wait and see the price next year in March it will double....I've been engaged in active trading and managed to grow a nest egg of around 2.3Bitcoin to a decent 24Bitcoin....I'm especially grateful to Francine Duguay, whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape.
